Rebecca offers a range of permanent make up techniques to create brows bespoke to you. These include microblading, ombré/powder, or combination brows. At the appointment, Rebecca will speak to you about your expectations, assess your skin type and brows, before recommending the best techniques for you.
Permanent make up on the brows has many advantages. Brows are what frame and lift your face. The treatment has become increasingly more popular over the years as techniques have developed. Whether you are looking for better symmetry, more fullness/definition, or even if you suffer with complete hair loss and need new brows from scratch, Rebecca is able to create the perfect brow for you.
Microblading
Microblading is performed using a manual, disposable, hand held tool. The tool is composed of tiny needles, resembling the shape of a blade, to hand draw each individual hair and simultaneously implant pigment into the skin. Each new hairstroke that is drawn is meant to mimic a natural hair and seamlessly blend in with the clients existing eyebrows to add colour and fullness, resulting in a very natural result. Microblading tends to be more suited to those with ‘normal’ skin and small pores. Clients with oily skin and open pores are more suited to a powder or combination brow.

Powder/Ombré Brows
Powder/ombré brows is a cosmetic permanent make up technique, designed to create brows with a soft powder effect, very similar to powder make up. Powder brows are created with a shading technique using a digital device, which is similar to a tattoo gun. A tiny needle is used to place pigment into the skin with a quick hand motion, resulting in a pixelated effect of powder make up. In order to add density, the pixels can be layered repetitively, meaning the brows can be as natural or as defined as you like. This can range from a dusty, ‘barely there’ brow, up to a bold, editorial, ‘make up’ brow, meaning powder brows are very versatile and suitable for everyone. Your desired results would be discussed on the day. Powder brows are suited to all skin types.
Combination Brows
Combination brows, also known as ‘Blade & Shade’ brows is a combination of two forms of permanent make up techniques – microblading and powder brows (shading). The powder effect is applied to the body of the brow using a digital device to give the brow its fullness. Hair strokes are then added to the front and sometimes through the brow, for added texture and to create a more ‘fluffy’ finish. This method is better suited to those with more normal skin and smaller pores.
